March Madness is here at last. Did you see the Snow Moon the other day! What a way to welcome this month of lions and lambs. In English, we traditionally say “March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb” This refers to how the weather in March goes from fierce and scary to gentle and warm. It is similar in ways to the Japanese expression 三寒四温. Although, it seems we will start with lamb like weather here in Fukui.
