Happy New Year. May it be a year of reconnecting, rediscovering and reengaging with the many things that we love and enjoy.

This year, I’ve started many of the English classes out on a reflective note. Writing New Year Resolutions as well as discussing dreams and goals with many students.

So let’s start our journaling on a reflective note too:

  1. Write your New Year List. This means making a list of 8-10 things you think are important, that make you happy, that make those around you happy, or that you want to pay more attention to.
  2. Do you ever write a new years resolution? When did you do it? Why did you?
  3. Write about a time your accomplished a long term goal.
